Juliana Cristina

Juliana Cristina was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and began her dance training at the age of six. Recently, graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). Where she holds a B.F.A Degree in Dance under the direction of Dean Susan Jaffe and Associate Dean Brenda Daniels.

During her time at UNCSA, Ms. Cristina has had the pleasure of performing works by Azure Barton, Brenda Daniels, Kira Blazek, Helen Simoneau, Ming Lung-Yang and alumni Juel D. Lane. Juliana has had the opportunity to further her study through summer intensives such as Nashville Ballet, Ballet Florida and the New York City Rockettes. Her passion for dance has driven her to volunteer in her community, sharing her knowledge of dance with younger generations. She has performed for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Juliana is a current Company dancer for the Sarasota Contemporary Dance Company. She has had the privilege of performing works by Artistic Director Leymis Bolanos Wilmott, Xiao Xuan-Dancigers, Erin Fletcher, Adele Myers, Dazaun Solyen, Doug Giseppi, Colette Krogol, Matt Reeves and Jennifer Nugent. Ms. Cristina is also on the faculty at The Sarasota Ballet teaching ballet, jazz and contemporary to students of all ages.
